We’ve been pushing it for a minute now and it’s finally here! Under Sound Music along with Pedx Baltimore, SPKSMEN and Rock the Dub present Rome Cee’s The Extra Mile. We’re really excited because Rome has taken a quick path from getting love on Baltimore Hip Hop focused websites to getting posted on 2DopeBoyz, NahRight and HipHopDx. Over the past few weeks we released a couple of videos and Rome has been on a bunch of radio shows and the work is clearly paying off. And since we know a lot of people are checking for this release now, we’d love to hear what you think of the final product. Featuring Sean Price, as well as Under Sound artists and Rome’s COS family, The Extra Mile hits for those that want to hear some thought provoking shit or some street shit. So stop sleeping! We’re less than a week away folks! Rome Cee’s The Extra Mile drops on July 28th so you’re going to see a lot of Rome Cee posts in the next couple of days.
This video here was shot by Bmore Pro Productions and is for another joint off of The Extra Mile called “We Improvise.” I really love this track. The vocal and guitar samples really set it off and Rome gets busy as usual. Those familiar with the city will notice Sound Garden and other Fells Point spots in the background for this video as Rome and his right hand man Pascal post up near the water and in front of some familiar retailers.

Ellipsis abound!!! Last week I dropped “E Major is… Better Than Yours” and this week I’m part of a column called “The other side of… E Major.” Wesley Case hit me up and asked if I wanted to be a part of this new feature from the B Weekly paper. It’s pretty cool cause it gives people who know an artist a deeper look into weird little things that artist is into and for people who have no idea who the artist is, it gives them and interesting introduction. Now that I read it I realize some of my answers sound a bit “cool guy trying to be cool” but I don’t give a fuck, that’s what I’m into. Reminds me of a time a friend overheard a girl at a party call me and my friends elitist hipsters. Lol. It was so long ago I had to look up what a hipster was. I was like “Well we are elitists. She got that part right.” Lol.
Anyway, head on over to B The Site if you’re not in the Baltimore area and can’t pick the paper up. I’ve already gotten a number of texts and tweets that my face is out there all over the city. Kinda cool I guess. Even if I look a bit goofy.
