E Major Performs at DC Loves Dilla with Phife and Pharcyde

As many of you know, I perform almost every year at the Dilla tribute shows in DC and Baltimore.  I’ve never been shy about my J Dilla stannery and I’m always grateful to be a part of the celebration of his life and work.  This year as has been the case every year, is bigger and better.  The event will take place this year at the 9:30 Club and will feature Phife of ATCQ and Pharcyde as the headliners.  Joining me will be some of DC’s brightest talents including Kaimbr, Kenn Starr, Roddy Rod and more.  You don’t want to miss this.  All additional information is on the above flyer.

E Major and Sean Armstrong – Fantasy feat. Cynthia Hawkes

Now I’m not usually one to toot my own horn, but for real, if you haven’t downloaded the tribute to J Dilla that myself and Sean Armstrong put together called LOUDER!, you’re sleeping!  I keep listening to it and remain proud of what we did as an homage to my favorite producer of all time and my number one inspiration in music.  This track here is definitely one of my favorites from the project.  Cynthia Hawkes came through with the hook and simply made the song what it is.  She really did a great job of making it a track that can really grab you.  Check it out and let me know your thoughts!
