MOTH Trailer from FRESH KILL on Vimeo.

Yes TWO Hilton Carter posts in a row! So the f*ck what? My man is DOING IT.  Don’t believe me?  Remember the film we told you about back in November that he did called “MOTH”?  Well, that little picture got nominated for BEST SHORT FILM at the 2010 Milan International Film Festival.  That’s Italy ya’ll!

So we want to congratulate our good friend because honestly just getting nominated for something that big is an honor.  And definitely check out how he updated the trailer for the film to include his new logo as well as the “Nominated for the Milan Film Festival” logo that they sent him.  That shit just looks so damn official!  So proud of our homie for this one.

Moth – Directed by Hilton Carter, Produced by Penn Badgley

NEW MOTH POSTER

This is SO major.  Our good friend Hilton Carter has directed a short film called Moth.  The film was done with the help of Evan Guidera under the umbrella of their production company Fresh Kill, which you’ve seen us mention on here before.  They have been responsible for amazing videos by Shawn Jackson, The Mighty Underdogs and Iglu and Hartley just to name a few.  And of course Hilton directed this little number. 😉 I can’t speak on the film because I haven’t seen it my self but you definitely want to be in the place for the premier.  I’m so proud of these guys for their hustle and their amazing talents. The film was produced by Penn Badgley of Gossip Girl and The Stepfather fame.

Hilton Carter and his company Fresh Kill were out in LA not long ago shooting a video for Iglu & Hartly ‘s single “DayGlo.”  The post production work is in full swing and should be wrapped in the coming weeks.  There’s a lot of green screen so I imagine the post work is going to be intense.  Check out Fresh Kill’s blog for more photos.

Speaking of music videos, Under Sound is releasing TWO videos featuring me in the coming month!  One is for “Make It” and you may remember that was shot some time ago.  There was a LOT of animation to it so it has taken some time but it’s SUPER ill.  Can’t wait for everyone to see it.
