Mixtape: Ramaj Eroc – #TheLobby

This is the first time that I’m posting about the good brother Ramaj Eroc but it won’t be the last.  Ramaj hit me up about getting on a song with him and after peeping some of his joints and seeing the level that he’s working at, I had to get down!  That track, however is NOT on this mixtape.  In fact this isn’t even the official mixtape, The Last Train to Japan.  It’s an “unofficial” mixtape.  I don’t know what that means but if this is the unofficial one, then the official one is gonna be stupid!  This joint right here has a nice balance of straight ahead hip hop shit and some experimentation.  Ramaj is a more than capable MC with an relaxed flow and a good voice.  You can download it by clicking here.  #TheLobby might just have you waiting for the The Last Train to Japan.

Cookbook – Original Recipes Mixtape

Our homies Heroes 4 Hire (whom you probably know from Make It or Know That) have a beat on the new Cookbook mixtape. Cookbook is one of the founders of the hip-hop group L.A. Symphony.  They’ve done some other work with Cook but this is the first to make it out for the world to hear.  It’s so dope that they have a track on this and it’s mixed by none other then Revolution!  So dope. Our homie J Berd recently released a dope project that he’s been hustling along with some fresh ass T shirts.  Up until recently you had to swing by the barbershop to pick one up or snag a shirt and a CD from Berd at a show but now it’s online and you too can rock the J Berd album.  Available on CD Baby which describes the album as “Hip Hop for the modern day man with classic, Boom Bap sensabilities and incredible worplay.”  I think that says it all!  BUY IT NOW on CD Baby.

SPKSMEN Spring 2011 Delivery
