So last night was dope! I went down to Drom on Ave A to check out Brooklyn Bodega’s CMJ showcase. It was a pretty good turnout and there were some great acts performing. I ran into Von Pea and Donwill from Tanya Morgan who were also added to the lineup. They had a short set but they did their thing! There were some good R&B sets from Kimberly Nichole and Jesse Boykins III but the crowd really seemed to be excited to see Diamond District and Pac Div. Diamond District killed it and it was dope to see a DMV group get so much love in NYC. Pac Div were really fun to see live! The crowd went nuts when they performed “Mayor.” Shouts to those guys… I had a chance to chat with them for a sec and they were super nice, very down-to-earth

Eddie (who’s now taken on the name Wells Goodington) is up in NYC right now taking in CMJ’s. He’s definitely on his grind, meeting artists, passing out beat CDs, networking etc… And while he’s up there he decided to link with the beautiful young songstress Nirvana Savory to lay down some music. She’s working on her own project and will also feature on Wells’ new project that is in the works. He sent over some photos so share with you all. Check ‘em out below.

It’s kind of a crazy coincedence how me and Impy ended up in Ocean City together. A friend of mine works for AVP which is the pro volleyball league. He’s produces for their television and web content. He lives in LA and was coming to O.C. for a tournament and asked did I want to come and kick it with him for the weekend. I was talking to Impulse and told him this and as it turned out Malibu had hired him to DJ in their tent at the tournament for the weekend. Perfect. So we met up down there and all had a lot of fun. Impulse and my friend Marc both had to work but for me it was fun in the sun. Here are some pics.
