E Major is… Better Than Yours has been in a works for some time now and it’s finally here. We’ve dropped a few different tracks from this project over the past 6 months but the time has finally come to put out the whole thing. Filled with mostly original tracks, this was put together with some of the most talented people I know and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I could go into a lot more detail on the process of creating this and everyone involved but instead I’ll just let the music speak for itself.

The latest addition to the Under Sound Music family, Rome Cee is preparing to release his latest mixtape, The Extra Mile. In preparation for the release we present his first official single/video with Under Sound Music, entitled “By Your Side.” The song and video invite us to walk with Rome through his West Baltimore neighborhood as he dodges drugs, haters, scandalous women and all of the other pitfalls that promise nothing but failure. No matter what obstacle he is faced with, Rome Cee will no doubt come out on top.
Over the winter I was in India escaping the cold we were experiencing in Maryland. While I was there I wanted to take advantage of a different location and shoot a little video. I decided on this freestyle over Flying Lotus’ “Massage Situation” because it’s kind of short and sweet. I loved this beat from the moment DJ Impulse sent it over to me. I had to flip it, so I did a verse over it for the upcoming E Major is… Better Than Yours project, which I swear will be out SOON. Like, SOON, soon. Anyway, check this video and let me know what you think. I’ve been doing a lot of editing recently and I edited this. I also shot and edited a video for Rome Cee which will be out very soon.
