UPDATE: Skyzoo Added to BTY/King’s Khrysis Listening Party

Shit just got that much more real! As we posted before, there is a listening party/happy hour for my project with BetterThanYours.net called E Major is… Better Than Yours and King Mez’s King’s Khrysis EP but we just confirmed that the homie Skyzoo will also be in the buidling to meet and greet fans during the event.  Do not sleep on this!!!  We’ll have beer provided by Flying Dog Beer and after the event we’re going to The Ottobar to perform (flier for that event coming soon).  Be there on the 20th!!!

I couldn’t be more excited to announce this!  As you know I’ve been working on E Major is… Better Than Yours for some time and we’re finally getting ready to release it.  And you probably already know that our homie King Mez has been having amazing success recently thanks to his Stussy affiliation and his amazing collab with Khrysis on the King’s Khrysis EP.  So we to celebrate to and to let all of our fans know they’re appreciated, we’ve teamed up with our good friends at Pedx Baltimore and Flying Dog Beer to bring you a listening party/ happy hour for FREE.99!!!  Of course our homeboy Jerome Baker III will be there DJing as his site www.betterthanyours.net is the reason that the E Major is… Better Than Yours exists and has such a boastful title.  Also, DJ Face aka Sean Armstrong will be in the house spinning as well.  Oh yeah, we’re celebrating Mez’s birthday too so you know it’s gonna be live!  So please stop by, have a listen to Mez’s project, my project and enjoy some free beer!  Could you ask for a better happy hour!?

Our family over at Pedx Baltimore is at it again with another dope party from Always Dope!!!  This time bringing Trouble and Bass back to B’more.  The event is presented by Mishka and Scion to name just a couple sponsors and will be absolutely insane!  Do not sleep on this event.  I’ll definitely be in the house reppin’ Under Sound and just kicking it.  Hope to see some of you good people there!

5th Annual Bmore Dilla event: Forever Shining

It is no secret that we at Under Sound have been huge fans and supporters of J Dilla’s work.  He’s been such an inspiration to all of us and we encourage you all to support this great event.  J Dilla’s mom, Ms. Maureen ‘Ma Dukes’ Yancey, along with T3 of Slum Village will be present at the event.  You can also expect amazing tribute performances from many of Under Sound’s friends such as Cynthia Hawkes, Sean Toure, Ullnevano, J Soul, Tislam The Great, Ab Rock and more.  If you’re in the Baltimore area this Sunday, March 6th, please go out and support.  Shouts to the good people over at Club Reality for always supporting great hip-hop and contributing to keeping Dilla’s legacy alive!
