Under Sound Music

So last night Eddie hits me with some remixes he did for a singer from VA Beach named K’bana Blaq, for a song called “Blaq City.”  K is part of a collective called The Fuzz Band but does some solo work as well.  I started banging these immediately.  The deep house remix fits the song so perfect in my opinion.  I’ll be checking for K’bana from now on and I will definitely be rocking these remixes by Ed.

Last night we were at GWU Radio promoting for Ed’s album, Sound Wandering.  It was Funkadelic Freestyles last show before the summer break and there was a gang of artists in the building.  They even had a live band called The L’s come in the studio and some of the MC’s did some freestyles with them.  It was really dope.  An epic show to say the least.  Impulse came with me and Ed and got busy on the wheels of steel.  Shout out to J Promo, Jerome, Scooty, Jaimie and everyone else in the spot last night.  Make sure you check with Funkadelic Freestyles regularly for when they post the podcast.  It was a very entertaining night to say the least.

So, this is a song that I had originally done for a project that never got made.  I decided to slide some vocals to Ed and here’s what he came up with.  The beat is jazzy but captures the emotion of the track really well.  This song will only be up for a limited time so grab it now!  It is NOT on the “Sound Wandering” album!!!
