Eddie AKA Eddie P AKA Eddie Music is a special kind of artist.  A young artist influenced by his mixed cultural background, Wells has a sound that can’t be categorized.  His mother, who is from Panama, would listen to samba, reggae, and salsa music while his father cranked Rock and Roll, and Eddie was interested in all of it.

Not only a beat maker but a musician, Eddie became interested in music as a drummer.  He played in many bands in the VA Beach area including jazz, hip-hop and even rock groups.  When a friend turned him onto producing beats, he immediately felt that he had found his calling.

Eddie released his debut album Sound Wandering is a blend of all the sounds that make up the artist and producer.

Working with label mate E Major as well as DMV (that’s DC, MD and VA for the uninformed) heroes Cy Young and Kev Brown, to name a few, Wells has brought together vocal talent to compliment his sound.  Citing J Dilla as one of his main influences, you can hear a touch of Welcome 2 Detroit in his sound.  His chopped soul samples and synths provide the perfect bed for the MC’s and singers on this project to lay their verses down.

The album also boasts a handful of instrumental tracks, proving that he can make music that can stand on it’s own, without the assistance of rappers or singers.
