E Major

Under Sound Music’s E Major is steadily becoming one of the DMV’s most sought-after emcees. Since releasing his acclaimed Majority Rules album in 2008, he has continued to garner lots of press and attention. Baltimore’s City Paper has called him “remarkably consistent” and also listed his latest album as one of the top 3 albums in 2008. The same album Okayplayer.com called “… one of the better bread and butter rap records.”

Since the release of Majority Rules, E Major has been staying busy with more & more show requests along with collaborations with some amazing artists. He’s kept the Internet buzzing with the release of several videos and exclusive downloads. Most recently he’s received lots of praise for his collaboration with the renowned DJ Impulse on the summer hit “Paper Runnin” which expertly blends hip-hop and Baltimore Club music. After being played on radio stations from Baltimore to Denmark, E Major is is now taking that momentum and proceeding full-steam ahead with his latest project, The Major Major Mixtape.

Available now here and on Bandcamp, this latest offering from E Major features production from DJ Sat One of the Skratch Makaniks, Under Sound Music’s Eddie and more as well as E Major rhyming over some of the industries best instrumentals. The project is mixed by True School’s DJ Face and cosponsored by streetwear boutique, Pedx Baltimore.
